Empty and sort the room
Pack food, pans and small appliances before removal day. Label boxes by use. This is also a good time to remove expired food and items that should not take space in the new kitchen.
Set up a simple temporary area
A kettle, microwave and small fridge can cover basic needs when placed safely away from the work. Do not overload extensions or use cooking appliances in unsuitable rooms.
Confirm access and daily arrangements
Clear hallways, discuss parking and protect pets from the work area. Ask when water or power may be interrupted and keep the installer’s contact route available.
